By using Kayis you agree to the following terms. Please read them — they are short and written in plain language on purpose.

1. The service

Kayis is a digital-discipline app for iOS 16 and above. It uses Apple's Screen Time APIs to lock apps that you choose, during focus sessions, within daily limits, or on schedules you define.

2. Your account

3. Subscription — Kayis Plus

Kayis Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, offered as two plans of which you choose one:

Plan Price Subscription period
Monthly SAR 9.99 One month, renewing every month
Annual SAR 59.99 One year, renewing every year — equivalent to SAR 5.00 per month

Both plans sit in the same subscription group, so you cannot hold both at once.

4. Free versus Plus

You can use Kayis without subscribing. The free version gives you:

Kayis Plus unlocks:

We may change what each tier includes in future; if we reduce a paid feature you are currently subscribed to, your right to cancel and seek a refund under Apple's rules is unaffected.

New subscribers get 1 week free on either Kayis Plus plan. After the free week, your Apple account is charged the plan price and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel in Apple account settings. The introductory offer is available once per Apple account in the Kayis Plus subscription group. Full terms are shown on the subscription screen inside the app before purchase.

5. Referral codes

Kayis has a referral programme. Every account gets one code, in the form KAYIS-ABC123, found on Home and under "Account" → "Invite friends".

Referral days give you the same access as a paid subscription for as long as they last, but they do not create an Apple subscription: nothing is charged, nothing renews, and when the days run out your account returns to the free tier unless you subscribe. Referral days are separate from the introductory offer described in section 3; that offer is administered by Apple, and Apple determines eligibility for it.

We may change or end the referral programme at any time, and days already granted will be honoured. We may withhold rewards or disable codes where we detect abuse — for example bulk or automated redemption, or accounts created in order to generate codes.

6. Refunds

Purchases are made through the App Store, and the refund policy is Apple's, not ours. To request a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no authority to issue refunds and no visibility into the status of your request. If the cause was a technical fault in the app, contact us and we will try to resolve it.

7. Acceptable use

8. The limits of what we promise

Kayis is a tool that helps you stay disciplined; it is not a guarantee. Blocking depends on Apple's APIs and can be affected by system updates, your device settings, or your revoking the permission. We accept no responsibility for any opportunity, appointment, or outcome you miss because a block was applied — or because it was not.

Kayis is not a medical product and is not a substitute for professional advice in cases of digital addiction or any health condition.

9. Provision of the service

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but it is provided "as is", with no warranty of continuity or freedom from faults. It may be interrupted temporarily for maintenance, by a fault at one of our providers, or for reasons outside our control.

We may modify the app's features or discontinue the service. If we discontinue it permanently, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance inside the app or via the app's store listing, and we will stop renewing subscriptions from the date of that notice.

10. Intellectual property

The app, its name, its design, and its content belong to us. Content you write — such as your pledge — remains yours, and we process it only to operate the service as set out in the Privacy Policy.

11. Account suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach section 7, or if the account is used in a way that harms the service or other users. If that happens while you hold an active subscription, cancellation and any refund are handled through Apple under its rules.

12. Your relationship with Apple

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and any dispute shall be heard before its competent courts.

14. Changes to these terms

If we amend these terms, we update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after an amendment means you accept it.
